A Slice of Goa

It’s a summery day in Goa and everyone’s out and about. You’ll hear the unmistakeable honk of the poder, with the freshest bread tucked carefully into the basket as he cycles by. There are kids playing football on the beach, a guitarist singing with abandon and the next door neighbours taking it all in. From the cheery group at the taverna to the bright blue ocean and lush palms, there’s so much to love about this puzzle, as there is in Goa!

Vaibhav Salgaonkar aka Mr. Bu, is a Goa-based illustrator, caricature artist and urban sketcher. He blends humour and storytelling to capture local culture - from heritage buildings to bustling streets, charming traditions to delicious food. His work reflects his appreciation for the state’s evolving identity through vibrant souvenirs and memorabilia.
